I’m a multi-discipline, mixed-media artist, writer, and an aspiring social worker!

I enjoy working with both traditional and digital mediums, and in this exploration and discovery I've found my art to be a manifestation of my personal journey.

I've only recently come to sharing my artwork, despite drawing since a young age, I've always been a bit shy about showing off projects etc.

I'm coming to find, however, it IS the best way to improve - and that's by hearing constructive criticism and working on commission's (i.e. developing ideas with clients - it's amazing what comes out when two complete strangers sit down for 10 minutes and chat out a concept!)

My art is meant to challenge your preconceptions, expand your mind, and evoke feelings of growth, and discovery. I hope we discover many things together on this journey.

About my work 

I've always had an inkling towards drawing. At 10, I fancied myself a journalist, then I wanted to be a teacher, then a doctor, after that I thought, business? (I went on to study some of my higher qualifications in business!), and, yet, after all these aspirations and idea's, I never put much thought into really, truly being an artist. It was a pipe dream, after all.

I thought, 'Hmph, won't work out in the end', and I thought, 'Better stick to the daytime job' .. Maybe I'll make some art now and then but that was it.

Yet, I've found that way of thinking to be wrong. That negative attitude kept me back from making MORE art, getting BETTER, and striving to CREATE opportunities around me. Now, I work professionally within the health sector, and also work as an artist in my down time, and I love it!

With everyone's support on Facebook, deviantArt and Instagram I've found my confidence growing in my art ability, and this helps me create more, produce more and try more!
